Post war the country was expanding and looking to suburbia for residential options, in this expansion was the chestnut of an idea many of my contemporaries will remember as the stalwart of our youth, THE MALL. In the early 1970’s Simpsons department store decided it would open 6 new stores in the GTA and I guess they were so stoked about it they had a T-shirt made. This beauty vintage sweatshirt is so soft with age, it dates to pre 1973 (as that when the mall opened), time to get nostalgic and cozy all at once!
